Following licensed assister-types help Arkansas consumers enroll in marketplace plans free of charge. But what is the difference to consumers like you?
While all the above licensed assister-types help you enroll in a marketplace plan at no cost to you, the Exchange Producers would guide you to the insurance policies offered by the company (or companies) that appoints them. All other types of assisters ( Navigators, Certified Application Counselors (CAC) & IPA Guides ) would help you navigate insurance policies provided by all insurance companies in the marketplace and while they may help you decide, the final decision to go with which insurance company policy is up to you, the consumer.
